Originating from the sun-drenched sprawl of Meanjin/Brisbane and now firmly rooted in Naarm/Melbourne, The Halves have spent the last few years carving out a sound of emotionally charged guitar music that takes the ribs of post-punk and the skin of indie rock. On their debut self-titled EP, The Halves explored the uncertainty of self and human connection through urgency and emotion.
